科莱恩化工:第一时间响应抗疫集结号 确保重点物资生产运输

科莱恩大中华区总部位于上海,在华分支机构遍布16个城市,共计拥有约1400名员工。 2019年,科莱恩在华年度销售额3.99亿瑞士法郎(持续经营业务),整体运营状况良好。此次新冠疫情爆发初期,科莱恩便启动了应急管理机制,迅速调整了供应链、物流及生产等相关的工作安排,并坚持安全生产和疫情防控“两手抓”。

Headquartered in Shanghai, Clariant Greater China has roughly 1,400 employees in 16 cities across the country. In 2019, Clariant maintained excellent overall operation in China with the annual sales of CHF 399 million (continuing businesses). Shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak, Clariant initiated its china emergency management system, promptly adjusting relevant arrangements of supply chain, logistics and production, as well as keeping a sound balance between safe production and epidemic control.

响应抗疫集结号 第一时间复工生产

Quick response to the call to resume production

科莱恩色母粒(上海)有限公司(科莱恩色母粒上海工厂)的产品广泛应用于防疫用品和民生产品。疫情爆发初期,工厂就接到多个客户和部分地方政府的请求,要求工厂尽快复供以支持全国防疫工作。科莱恩对此积极响应,在1月28日就开始申请提前复工。闵行区政府,区商委,莘庄工业区工委、商会,对科莱恩上海工厂的请求非常重视,并具体指导了工厂的防疫工作,工厂也按相关要求在短时间内完成了复工后防疫工作的准备和员工动员工作。在1月30日得到复工批准后,工厂全力组织生产,保障下游客户原料需求,尤其是“三必需”企业(保障疫情防控必需、公共事业运行必需、群众生活必需)的平稳运行。

The products of Clariant Masterbatches (Shanghai Ltd) are widely used in the epidemic prevention and control materials.The Clariant Shanghai factory had received requests from multiple clients and local governments to provide support for the production of epidemic prevention and control materials and emergency supplies for people’s livelihoods at the very beginning of the outbreak. Clariant quickly responded to the requests and submitted the application to resume production in January 28. The local government and Committee of Commerce of Minhang district, as well as the Xinzhuang Industrial Park Working Committee and Chamber of Commerce attached great importance to the Clariant’s application and provided detailed guidance on the epidemic prevention and control efforts. The Shanghai factory finished the preparation and mobilization for resumption of work as per relevant requirements in the shortest time. After the application was approved on January 30, the Shanghai factory went all out to resume the production so as to ensure the supply of raw materials for downstream customers, especially the stable operation of the three kinds of “necessary” enterprises (for epidemic prevention and control, for public utility operation and for people’s livelihood).

灵活应对挑战 确保物资生产运输

Focus on production of key materials

疫情无疑给复工生产带来了人员配置、材料供应、产品运输等全方面的挑战,但科莱恩工厂采取了一系列的灵活措施,确保了重点物资的生产运输。            The epidemic outbreak has brought challenges to the resumption of work for Clariant in many aspects, including personnel arrangement, raw material supply and products transportation. However, thanks to the adoption of a bunch of flexible solutions, Clariant has successfully addressed those challenges.  

为了尽力确保公司生产运营的持续性,并尽量降低办公区域病毒传播可能性,科莱恩将员工分为了两组,按周轮换上班,两组员工不可彼此见面。

To ensure business continuity and minimize the virus transmission in offices, Clariant China has implemented a measure in which our staff had been divided into two groups that alternate shifted between working in the office and working from home for two weeks. These two groups shall not mix and meet with each other.

此次疫情给化工行业原材料的供应也带来了一定的影响,所幸的是,科莱恩采购与供应链部门提前规划了额外的原材料库存。目前,科莱恩正尽一切努力,确保必要时从未受疫情影响的地区,可以获取原材料的供应替代渠道。相信随着国内疫情的稳定,国内原材料供应也会越来越稳定。

The COVID-19 has also brought certain impact on the raw material supply during the chemical industry. Fortunately, Clariant procurement and supply chain have arranged additional stocks in advance, and right now we’re continuously trying to source substitute raw material supply channels from unaffected regions. And Clariant believes the domestic supply will become more and more stable as the situation is under control gradually.

此外,为了让客户及时收到公司产品,科莱恩还针对紧急运单寻求灵活高效的运输资源,做到每日更新状态、每单逐一处理。例如,有一类原料因其产业分布的特殊性,必须在国内大宗调货。在当时陆路运输仅恢复18%的情况下,科莱恩果断改为水运并承担大幅度上涨的运输成本,最终按时交付客户订单。 

In order to help customers receive the products timely, Clariant also seeks flexible and efficient transportation resources for emergency orders, which are daily updated and processed case by case. For example, there is a kind of raw materials, which must be transferred largely across China due to the special industrial distribution. As only 18% capacity of land transportation was recovered then, Clariant resolutely switched to water transportation with substantially increased costs and delivered the finished products on schedule.

三班倒筹集物资 强化疫情防控工作

Enhance epidemic prevention and control

在紧抓重点物资生产的同时,科莱恩也积极强化疫情防控工作。口罩是安全生产必需品。为了采购到足量口罩,科莱恩全球联动,“16小时三班倒”地筹集物资,依靠强大的全球供应商资源以及与时间赛跑的拼劲,从泰国、墨西哥、土耳其、印度、巴西、德国和美国等地成功“抢”到了数万只符合防疫要求的N95工业口罩,并于第一时间被调配至科莱恩各办公室和工厂,以确保员工们安全复工。

While focusing on the production of key materials, Clariant is also actively enhancing the epidemic prevention and control. In order to purchase sufficient masks necessary for safe production, with “3 shifts in 16 hours”, Clariant sourced across the world, and successfully “grabbed” tens of thousands of qualified N95 industrial masks from Thailand, Mexico, Turkey, India, Brazil, Germany and the USA based on the powerful global supplier resources and the hard work against time. These masks were distributed immediately to Clariant’s offices and sites in China to ensure the safety of employees.

此外,科莱恩甚至还在春节前夕劝说湖北籍员工,若非必须,不要返回湖北。科莱恩相关工厂也迅速制定完善了《应对暴发性传染病应急预案》、《应对新冠病毒防护指导》、《应对新型冠状病毒期间的复产复工管理方案》,并明确了相关关键措施,执行包括“远距离工作交接、一日三消毒、半日两通风、一人一餐桌”等在内的避免交叉感染的具体做法。

In addition, before the Spring Festival, Clariant even tried to persuade Hubei-based employees to not return to Hubei unless they had to. The sites also promptly prepared and improved the “Emergency Response Plan for Outbreak of Infectious Diseases”, the “Guidance for Protection against COVID-19” and the “Management Plan for Resumption during COVID-19 Outbreak”. These documents specified relevant key measures, including “Remote work handover, disinfections three times a day, ventilations twice a half day and one person at one table in cafeteria” to avoid cross-infection.

目前,在各级政府、医护人员以及社会各界的共同努力下,中国境内疫情防控成效明显。但鉴于当前国外形势异常严峻,输入确诊断病例也有上升趋势,疫情防控仍然处于吃紧的关键阶段。科莱恩中国应急管理团队在积极跟进上海市等各地制定的防疫措施外,还积极分享成功经验,为其他国家的应急团队的疫情防控做出贡献以期降低集团整体在疫情爆发期间所受的影响。

At present, with the joint efforts of governments at all levels, healthcare professionals and the society, China has achieved remarkable results in epidemic prevention. However, in view of the extremely serious situation abroad and the increasing number of imported cases, the epidemic prevention and control is still critical.
