“作为中国经济开放的标志地区，长三角在中国经济现代化进程和对外开放中起着重要作用。该地区在加强基础设施建设与绿色制造关系这一方面，也可以发挥积极作用。”在阿联酋驻上海领事法伊珊·芭露茜(Faizah Al Blooshi)看来，上海所在的长三角地区在中国经济发展中扮演着重要角色。她特别提到2018年阿布扎比哈利法工业区（KIZAD）和江苏省海外合作投资有限公司（JOCIC）签署的一项长达50年的协议，以促进中国企业与阿拉伯地区的客户建立更紧密的联系，“这是中阿两国近年来最重要的双边协议之一”。

“相信很快就会有更多进一步的合作。”法伊珊说，在港口管理方面，阿联酋具有和长三角合作的优势。她期待江苏等长三角地区和迪拜的港口之间，能加强港口运营管理、邮轮服务方面的合作。  

Further ties between Yangtze Delta and the UAE in port management

For Faizah Al Blooshi, Consul of the UAE in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta plays a very big role in the economy of China. “As the economic centre and most open area of  China, the Yangtze River Delta plays an important role in the modernization and opening up of the Chinese economy to the world. It is also a very good region to strengthen the relationship between infrastructure and environmentally-friendly manufacturing in the region.”  

Faizah stressed the possibility of collaboration between the UAE and China in terms of port development and management. For instance, one of the most important agreements between the two countries is the agreement between the KIZAD (Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi), and the JOCIC (Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Cooperation and Investment Company). According to her, that is an agreement of 50 years, to make the companies of China be in closer contact with clients in the Arab region. 

“I can see further collaboration coming soon.” She believes that the UAE has advantages in the port management area in the maritime regions. The UAE plans to enhance the development of port management between the Yangtze River Delta region and the ports in Dubai. In particular, the ports in Jiangsu and the UAE can learn from each other and develop cooperation in the management of cruise services.
